Our Accredited School
California Healing Arts College is approved by the Bureau for Private Post-Secondary Education, and is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).
California Healing Arts College is categorized as an eligible institution by the US Department of Education and provides training to Veterans. California Healing Arts College is also approved to provide CEU credits for nurses.
In 2011, California Healing Arts College became the first ACCSC member accredited school in California to offer a Personal Fitness Trainer program in association with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
Our Teachers
California Healing Arts College has been established since 1988. Our faculty and staff members are participating in a shared mission to provide superior massage therapy and personal fitness trainer education in a supportive environment. We have a long-standing, reliable, proven, and consistent commitment to excellence. Our faculty is comprised of highly skilled, experienced professionals who are committed to the success of their students.
There is no substitute for experience. We are one of the few massage therapist schools in the nation that invests in the expertise provided by a full-time teaching body. Many of our instructors have offered their expert guidance to our students for more than a decade.
Our Student Body
Our students represent diversity in age, nationality, and career backgrounds. The majority of our students are from California, and many other states and foreign countries are represented. A majority has had some college experience, many with degrees and successful professional careers.
Our students tell us that whether they are searching for their first career or they are planning a major career change, their reasons are often similar: they feel a Massage Therapy Program or Personal Fitness Training Program is a profession where they can touch other people’s lives in a meaningful way. Both Massage Therapy Program and Personal Training Program offer flexibility and creativity, allowing each person to enjoy success in their own way.
Our instructors and staff are skilled and compassionate professionals. They are concerned with the growth and development of each and every individual student. Our graduates often say that in coming to our school they have found an extended family.
They tell us that they chose us over other schools in Los Angeles because they knew that even more than a massage therapy education or personal fitness trainer education, they would receive the support and encouragement that only people who care can give.
Our Campus
With fully equipped classrooms, a teaching Clinic with 9 private treatment rooms, student library, our facilities offer a comfortable, spacious learning environment. The typical class size is 16 to 24, with an average of 12 students per instructor for both massage classes and personal fitness training classes.
All our massage therapy classes and student clinics are held at our facility here in West Los Angeles, California.
Our personal fitness training clinics are both at our campus and a nearby 24 Hours Fitness Facility.
