Healing Arts College offers an 89 minute instructional video presentation
entitled Professional Therapeutic Massage, available for purchase online.
This video is not intended as a substitute for hands-on training in the
classroom, but is a cost-effective, very useful introduction to key elements
in learning to perform a proper, professional, Swedish massage.
Professional Therapeutic Massage will guide you through an entire sequence
of strokes, beginning with effleurage of the back, working on through the
back of the legs, front of the legs, abdomen, chest and arms, and head and
neck. This sequence of strokes conforms closely to a portion of the basic
practical training offered in the Massage Therapist
- Practitioner CN150 program, and is taught by the school's founder,
owner, and director,
