Definitions:

  1. Tuition and Fees.  Tuition and Fees includes the total tuition and fees, including fees for books and equipment, charged for the program during the award year ending on June 30, 2012.  Current tuition and fees are stated in the California Healing Arts College school catalog.
  2. On-Time Completion Rate.  The On-Time Completion Rate per 34 CFR 668.6(c) is defined as the number of students who graduated during the “Normal Time” allotted for program completion.  Normal Time for program completion is based upon the length of the program as published in the California Healing Arts College school catalog.  The On-Time Completion Rate is not reflective of the overall completion rate of the program, since the majority of students take longer than the Normal Time to complete their educational program.
  3. Placement Rate.  Placement Rate is defined as “A” divided by “B”, where “A” is the number of program graduates during the reporting period who completed their educational program within 150% of the program length and who became employed in their field of training; and “B” is the total number of program graduates available for employment.
  4. Median Loan Debt.  Median Loan Debt is the median financial debt incurred through Title IV HEA loans and other sources of private financing by students who complete the educational program.
